A Royal Tradition of Hospitality
Dawat — meaning “grand invitation” in Urdu and Pashto — is more than a restaurant. It is an experience rooted in centuries of Afghan and Pashtun culinary tradition, brought to life in the heart of Toronto’s East York.
Every dish is crafted with authentic spices, slow-cooked meats, and recipes passed down through generations. From the smoky perfection of our Shinwari Karahi to the aromatic depth of our Kabuli Pulao, each plate tells a story.
